September 2025

We give you a sneak peek into
some of our work in September!!

Black Hat just wrapped up a busy month. Between live events spanning multiple cities in India & abroad and a whole lot of digital engagements, it's been non-stop action. But here's the big news!

WE ARE NOW LOCAL IN AUSTRALIA!
Over the years, we've extensively worked with Australian cricketers for events in both Australia and India, while also curating entertainment with local acts for Indian origin MICE events in Australia. Establishing a local presence was a natural progression.
Australia offers a thriving variety entertainment scene, legendary cricketers, and highly talented local artists. At the same time, the vibrant Indian diaspora fuels strong demand for talent from India. Add to this that Australia is now a favorite destination for MICE groups and gala events, with many Indian corporates hosting conferences, incentive trips, and celebrations there.
With the traction we are witnessing in Australia, it was an organic decision to expand and we are happy to announce our local presence in Australia! Whether you're looking for local Australian talent for your events, or if you have a client in Australia seeking talent from India, we're on the ground and ready to make it happen.
Check out our Australia page at www.blackhattalent.com/australia
And don't just take our word for it, watch what three Australian cricketers had to say about working with Black Hat and our presence in Australia!

Exploring New Spaces: Black Hat brings Falguni Pathak to Raj Shamani's Podcast

Raj Shamani & Falguni Pathak

This has truly been a month of venturing into new spaces, and this one felt just as special.

The Garba Queen, Falguni Pathak, recently joined entrepreneur and creator Raj Shamani on his popular podcast for a rare, heart-to-heart conversation. The timing couldn’t have been better; just days before Navratri, when her music takes over every celebration across the country.

In the episode, Falguni retraced her journey from performing for just ₹25 to drawing crowds of over 60,000 people. She spoke openly about her early years, the challenges behind her success, and how Navratri’s beats became the rhythm of her life.

It’s not often that we see artists like her open up with such honesty, making this exchange both nostalgic and deeply human. For so many of us, her story feels like a reflection of the celebrations we’ve grown up with, and we’re glad to have played a small part in bringing this moment to life.

The Dell Technologies Forum took place across two cities, Bangalore and Mumbai, bringing together ideas, stories, and perspectives that explored how technology is shaping creativity, communication, and the future of innovation.

In Bangalore, the forum opened with Carnatic 2.0, whose mix of classical ragas, digital textures, and AI-generated loops filled the hall as guests settled in.

Later that day, Host Mandira Bedi steered a conversation with filmmaker R. Balki, exploring how artificial intelligence is reshaping storytelling. Speaking from his experience in filmmaking, Balki shared how today’s technology is simplifying processes and opening new possibilities for creators.

When the forum travelled to Mumbai, Mandira returned as host, sharp and spontaneous as ever. The first day featured a spirited discussion with Australian and Indian cricketing legends - Brett Lee and Ravi Shastri, two of the most respected voices in the game, as they exchanged stories about teamwork, adaptability, and the evolving nature of the game. The evening ended on a musical high with Kaleidoscope, a band who added Bollywood and Sufi flavour to global hits.

The next morning, instrumentalist duo Clive and Rahul opened the session with their live act, merging classical sounds with digital arrangements. The closing conversation of the day paired India’s first Cosmonaut, Rakesh Sharma, with R. Balki. Together, they explored how imagination drives both science and cinema, from the cockpit to the director’s chair, and how technology continues to bridge those worlds.

Dignity of Labour Campaign: Urban Company x Anupam Mittal x Radhika Gupta

Entrepreneurship often comes wrapped in pitch decks, LinkedIn milestones, and investor chatter. But Urban Company’s latest digital engagement redefined this idea with a simple yet broader truth: that entrepreneurship exists in every kind of work, not just the ones that make headlines.

Through the campaign ‘Dignity of Labour’, Urban Company partnered with two of India’s most respected business voices, Anupam Mittal - founder and CEO of People Group and Shaadi.com, and Radhika Gupta - the MD & CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, to reframe how we view entrepreneurship in everyday life.

For Anupam, the message was deeply personal. Reflecting on his father’s words, “Bada na chhota, kaam, kaam hota hai” he spoke about how respect for work, regardless of title or setting, builds the foundation of a thriving economy. His post highlighted how people who fix ACs, run salons, or sell street food show the same drive and discipline as startup founders, and deserve equal respect.

Radhika shared a similar thought from another angle, that entrepreneurship isn’t limited to ownership or job titles but defined by attitude. Her words acknowledged those often unseen workers, from beauticians to massage therapists, whose consistency and care make a difference in people’s lives.

Indian Jam Project

The Delhi edition of SAP’s Now India Tour offered a day full of music, insight, and inspiration. The event began even before the official proceedings, with the Tripti Duo, a flute and tabla pair, performing in the pre-function area, greeting guests with soothing instrumental music.

Adding a contemporary layer to the experience, the Indian Jam Project opened the event with a performance that merged live music and AI-driven elements, setting an innovative tone for the day.

In the afternoon, cricketer VVS Laxman took the stage, sharing stories from his sports journey. He reflected on the discipline, focus, and teamwork needed at the highest levels of the sport, giving attendees practical insights that extended beyond the cricket field.

The evening came to life with the celebrated singer-composer duo Salim-Sulaiman, whose performance at the closing had the audience moving to familiar hits and lively rhythms, leaving a sense of excitement in the room.
