In the spirit of Teachers Day celebrated in September we honor the guiding lights who inspire, educate, and shape our future. This day is a tribute to those who dedicate their lives to nurturing minds and opening doors to knowledge. Our Talent Spotlight this month highlights two remarkable changemakers in the field of education: Shaheen Mistri, the driving force behind Teach for India, who has empowered thousands of children through education, and Kailash Satyarthi, the Nobel Laureate who has tirelessly fought against child labor, ensuring every child’s right to learn. Their work reflects the transformative power of education and its role in creating a brighter, more equitable world.

Shaheen Mistri, the visionary CEO of Teach for India and Founder of Akanksha Foundation, has dedicated her life to transforming education for children across India. Starting with just 15 children in 1989, her impact has grown exponentially, now reaching over 40,000 students through Teach for India and 10,000 through Akanksha Schools. Her initiatives like Firki and TFIx empower educators and entrepreneurs, while her advocacy for student leadership continues to inspire change.

Kailash Satyarthi

Nobel Peace Prize Laureate | Children’s Rights Activist and a member of a UNESCO body dedicated to ‘Education for All’

Kailash Satyarthi, the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, is a renowned children's rights activist and founder of several impactful organizations, including ‘Bachpan Bachao Andolan,’ which has rescued over 88,000 children from child labor, slavery, and trafficking. As a global leader in the fight against child exploitation Kailash has spearheaded major initiatives against child labour and sexual abuse. Kailash has been a member of a UNESCO body dedicated to ‘Education for All’ and has served on the board of the Global Partnership for Education. Kailash’s work continues to be a beacon of hope for millions of vulnerable children worldwide.

Audi India recently marked a monumental milestone, celebrating the sale of 100,000 vehicles and launching the all-new Audi Q8 across three cities—Delhi, Bangalore, & Mumbai. The celebrations were nothing short of spectacular, blending luxury with entertainment. In Delhi, the ever-witty Rohan Joshi alongside the enchanting Elli AvrRam, played hosts and created an electric atmosphere that set the stage for a soul-stirring performance by the legendary musical duo Salim-Sulaiman. Bangalore’s event continued the magic with Rohan Joshi at the helm, while Delraaz Bunshah and her band captivated the audience with their powerful musical performance. The grand finale in Mumbai saw the dynamic duo of Rohan and Elli once again steering the show, leading to a breathtaking performance by Ayushmann Khurrana, who lit up the stage with his irresistible charm and musical talent.

The audience enjoyed a spectacular and insightful session by none other than the cool-headed yet fierce former captain of the New Zealand Cricket Team, Kane Williamson. Growing up in a family of sports achievers, Kane's journey from an Under-19 cricketer to leading his national team is nothing short of inspiring. In a moderated chat, Kane shared his thoughts on staying motivated, the camaraderie with fellow cricketers, and his remarkable IPL journey.
