A Musical Duo Fusing East and West
Clive Vaz & Rahul Bakshi form a powerful duo ensemble that creates a unique blend of live electronica and world fusion music. Clive displays his mastery over a diverse range of instruments, including the bansuri, didgeridoo, mouth-harp, hulusi, flutes, and various percussion instruments. Rahul complements Clive’s melodies with his impressive percussion skills, playing the Dhol, Tabla, Djembe, Darbuka, Didgeridoo, and Kajoo. Together, they offer a captivating fusion of traditional and contemporary sounds, making their performances not just an interesting musical journey but also a beautifully immersive experience.

Mercedes-Benz India recently hosted a grand launch event in Mumbai for the new E-Class Long Wheelbase (LWB), featuring Bollywood star Kriti Sanon and the lively host Aparshakti Khurana. As the event marked Mercedes-Benz India’s 12th launch this year, guests were treated to a delightful interaction between Aparshakti and Kriti, where they shared playful banter and reminisced about the charm and elegance of the Mercedes brand. Aparshakti kept the atmosphere lighthearted, asking Kriti about her personal connection to the iconic car and playfully quizzing her on her dream drives and favorite travel companions. In celebration of 40 years of Metro Railway in Kolkata, India’s first underground metro and a symbol of urban transformation, a special cultural programme was held featuring live performances by two of the country’s most revered artists. Padma Vibhushan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, an internationally acclaimed sarod maestro known for his soulful renditions, and Padma Shri Shubha Mudgal, celebrated for her powerful voice and contributions to Hindustani classical music, were chosen to honor this significant milestone. Both artists performed individually, presenting audiences with unique expressions of India’s rich musical heritage. Their performances reflected the essence of Kolkatas deep-rooted cultural traditions, creating an atmosphere of pride and nostalgia as Metro Railway marked four decades of service in the City of Joy.

HSBC Dubai hosted a vibrant Diwali celebration for its customers, headlined by the dynamic Bollywood music duo Vishal-Shekhar. With a legacy of iconic chartbusters, over 3 billion YouTube streams, and 72 number-one singles, the duo brought their signature energy to the stage, lighting up the night with crowd favorites like Deewangi Deewangi, Desi Girl and many more. From the very first song, they had the audience dancing, delivering a true Diwali spectacle that felt like a firework display of music and rhythm.
