Anusha Dandekar is an Indo-Australian actor, singer and VJ who started her career at House of Style on MTV India and became an instant hit. She has hosted several television shows like ‘MTV Dance Crew’, ‘MTV Teen Diva’, ‘MTV News’ and ‘MTV Love School’ to name a few.
In 2008, Anusha won 'Best VJ' at the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female Awards. In 2014 she co-judged the show ‘India's Next Top Model’. In 2010 she won Femina's ‘50 Most Beautiful Women in India’ Award.
She made her Bollywood debut with ‘Mumbai Matinee’ in 2003 and in 2005, she acted in ‘Viruddh’, which won her the 'Best Debut' award at the Maharashtra Times Awards. Other Bollywood films she has performed include ‘Anthony Kaun Hai’, ‘Hello’, ‘Delhi Belly’ and more.
In 2012, she made her music debut with the single ‘Better Than Your Ex’. The same year she made her Marathi film debut with her role in ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha’.
Her style statements have made her an icon in the fashion world. She has been featured on the cover of magazines like Elle and Seventeen and has endorsed the brand's Reebok, Toni and Guy, Crocs and Lee Jeans.
