Talents in Spotlight

Supermoms: Juggling Careers and Motherhood with Finesse
They’ve built empires, commanded crowds, and kept the applause coming, on and off the stage. As we celebrate Mother’s Day this month, we turn our attention to women who move effortlessly between worlds: leading with conviction in boardrooms, holding their own under the bright lights of cameras, and carrying it all with the quiet strength that defines motherhood.
This month’s spotlight is dedicated to those who prove that talent and tenderness, ambition and nurturing, aren’t opposing forces; they’re just part of the same script.
Mandira Bedi
Always in motion, never out of steam
From cricket grounds to fitness studios, Mandira Bedi redefines what it means to be in the game. And off the field? She’s a hands-on mom who juggles heart, hustle, and headstands like it's just another Tuesday.
Palki Sharma
Calm, composed, and always two steps ahead
Sharp, unshaken, and never caught off guard, Palki Sharma brings clarity to chaos and poise to every panel. As a journalist and mother, she navigates deadlines and dinnertimes with the same precision and barely breaks a sweat.
Neeti Mohan
The voice that doesn’t just sing, it soars
Whether it’s a lullaby or a livewire anthem, Neeti Mohan’s vocals strike gold every time. And behind that mic is a mom who hits high notes in music and motherhood, proving both can be done in perfect pitch.
Chef Pankaj Bhadouria
The classroom chef who never left the spotlight
From blackboards to chopping boards, Pankaj turned a winning moment into a lifelong taste test of success. The first-ever MasterChef India winner, she stirs up recipes and routines alike, proving that a mother’s multitasking knows no bounds.
Faye D’Souza
The mic’s always on, and so is the truth
She doesn’t shout to be heard, she speaks so you listen. Faye D’Souza balances sharp journalism with motherhood like she does everything else: with focus, grit, and just the right amount of sass.
Chef Amrita Raichand
The kitchen’s favourite showstopper
She can dice, slice, and dazzle, all while flashing a camera-ready smile. Chef Amrita Raichand doesn’t just cook; she hosts culinary masterclasses wrapped in charm and plated with flair. And yes, she does it all while wearing the chef’s hat and the mom hat, with equal style.

SAP’s NOW AI Tour 2025 in Mumbai was packed tighter than a stadium on match day, and it closed, fittingly, on a sporting note.

Cricketing legend Ravi Shastri stepped up for the closing session, bringing with him a trove of experiences that spanned decades, continents, and formats. From pivotal matches on the world stage to his years as head coach of Team India, his conversation touched on sport, leadership, pressure, reinvention, and the evolving role of tech in modern cricket. Candid, conversational, and sharp, he had the audience hooked from the first over.

As the sun set and the lights dimmed, singer Amit Trivedi stepped in to take things from pitch to playlist. Soulful and easygoing, his set gave the audience a moment to breathe, hum along, and wrap up the day with music that felt just right.

Between big ideas and big performances, the day wrapped just the way it should’ve - on a high.

Business met beats at HSBC’s Annual Employee Meet in Mumbai, where the evening moved fluidly from boardroom reflections to stage-stealing rhythms. R. Gopalakrishnan - business thinker, author, and former corporate leader, opened the evening with a keynote that delved into the pillars of employee culture and what it takes to build lasting institutions. Drawing from decades of experience, he made a strong case for the value of longevity, not just in business strategies, but in people practices.

As dusk turned into night, the focus shifted from ideas to instruments. Amit Trivedi took over with his unmistakable sound, closing the day with a performance that built slowly and soared.
