Neeti Mohan, a name that resonates with melodious tunes and soul-stirring vocals, is a versatile playback singer who came into the spotlight with her participation in Channel V Popstars, where she emerged as one of the winners in 2003.
She won Channel V's reality show Popstars and was later chosen for Aasma, a pop group formed with the other show's winners, where she performed with Bryan Adams. She made her Bollywood debut in Vishal-Shekhar's Student of the Year (2012), in which she sang the soft ballad ‘Ishq Wala Love’.
Apart from her Bollywood journey, Neeti Mohan has also lent her voice to regional language songs, showcasing her linguistic versatility and passion for diverse musical experiences. Besides Hindi and a few Tamil films, she has also sung songs in Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi, and English.
She has donated to various charities in addition to her musical career. In October 2014, she performed at the ‘Hum Hain Umeed E Kashmir’ concert in Ballia to raise funds for the rehabilitation of those affected by the Kashmir flood. Mohan participated in a musical concert in New Delhi that month to raise funds for flood victims in Assam. She performed at the Smile Foundation's charity gala dinner in June 2016 to support the cause of empowering underprivileged children and youth.
In January 2017, she worked with the United Nations on a project to empower women, end human trafficking, and promote gender equality. Her song ‘Udne De’ was chosen for the United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund Project ‘Music to Inspire-Artists Unite Against Human Trafficking’.
