Introducing Black Hat Ex'l

Our New Exclusive Talent Management Division

Black Hat Ex'l

After 18 years of operating as a client-first, non-exclusive talent solutions company, we're excited to announce a new chapter.

Since 2007, we've intentionally stayed away from exclusive talent management. Instead, we focused on neutral discovery - helping clients find the best-fit talent from the widest possible universe, rather than pushing a pre-signed roster. This approach allowed us to build one of India's largest talent databases across 20+ categories, while earning your trust as unbiased partners in the talent discovery process.

So why exclusive management now?

These 18 years have given us unique insights - we've worked with thousands of talents and seen firsthand what works and what doesn't in talent representation. We're now identifying and onboarding select talents where we see strong untapped potential, genuine synergies, and alignment with our values.

We believe we can represent them differently - keeping both talent and clients happy, without the usual compromises.

Ex'l carries a dual meaning:

Excel

Enabling talent to excel further in their journey

Exclusive

Exclusivity in representation

This division will operate independently, but with the same judicious approach that's defined Black Hat from the start. Our core business model remains unchanged - we'll continue to be your neutral talent solutions partner, focused on finding the best fit for your brief.

We're simply adding a new capability, informed by nearly two decades of learnings. Both divisions will operate independently - each staying true to its own ethos and objectives.

Meet Our First Two
Exclusive Talents

R Balki

Exclusively managed for events and endorsements

Winning two National Awards is a rare distinction in Indian cinema. But R. Balki achieved it by daring to tell stories that didn't just entertain - they changed social mindsets.

He is the visionary behind groundbreaking films like Paa, Pad Man, Cheeni Kum, Ki & Ka, and Mission Mangal - each challenging conventions and sparking national conversations. Before revolutionizing the big screen, he shaped pop culture as the creative force behind iconic campaigns like Surf Excel’s "Daag Ache Hai" and Tata Tea’s "Jaago Re."

From brand narratives to box office triumphs, from awakening social consciousness to directing some of Bollywood's most nuanced performances - R. Balki brings fresh insights on storytelling, creative leadership, and building teams that create cultural movements.

Samdish Bhatia is redefining what real conversations look like in Indian media. Through Unfiltered by Samdish - followed by over 2 million people - he’s built a space for honest, unscripted dialogue with zero pre-shared questions, zero paid interviews, and zero polish. Known for his informal, deeply human style, Samdish listens more than he performs, disarming guests and drawing out perspectives rarely seen in media-trained conversations. From senior leaders to cultural voices, his interviews feel authentic, relatable, and refreshingly real.

Vellore Institute of Technology's Annual Riviera Festival

Mithali Raj

The Annual Riviera 2026 at Vellore Institute of Technology opened with former Indian cricket captain Mithali Raj attending as the chief guest.

The evening began with a fireside chat between Mithali Raj and the institute’s director, where students had the opportunity to hear from one of the sport’s most respected figures.

The fest then moved to a symbolic moment as Mithali took a ceremonial swing of the bat to formally open Riviera, drawing cheers from the students gathered for the occasion.

As part of the ceremony, Mithali Raj also planted and watered a sapling that will grow on the campus in her name. The gesture added a meaningful touch to the opening, leaving behind a small reminder of the day within the university grounds.
