Balki has been a celebrated personality in the advertising world. He has crafted ad campaigns for some of the well-renowned brands like Havells, Tanishq, ICICI Prudential, Saint-Gobain glass, Hamara Bajaj, Britannia, Pepsodent and many more.

Beyond his advertising skills, he is a notable filmmaker. His directorial debut with ‘Cheeni Kum’ in 2007 marked the emergence of a visionary storyteller. The film, featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu, garnered widespread acclaim for its refreshing narrative and stellar performances. 

With ‘Paa’ in 2009, Balki showcased his adeptness in portraying complex human emotions, earning critical acclaim and commercial success alike. His exploration of societal norms and human relationships continued with films like ‘Shamitabh’ and ‘Ki & Ka’.  challenging conventions and sparking conversations on gender roles and identity.
