About
Known for his melodious voice and soulful renditions of Sufi music, Prabh Gill’s entry into the world of music was a rather random encounter. He recorded and published his first single ‘Tere Bina’ (2009), on the internet followed by ‘Mere Dil Di Tu Jaane’.
His singles created a rage back then making him an overnight sensation, gaining him fans and admirers from all over the world. The song ‘Tere Bina’ even went on to have 1500 downloads in a day, back in those times, and there was no looking back since.
Prabh made a mark for himself in the music industry, and soon after his first few successful releases, yet another of his singles ‘Notorious Jatt’ topped the charts worldwide and was played on BBC. Some of his other works include songs like ‘Hostel No 1’ ‘Haan Karde’ and ‘Jaan’, to name a few. Prabh Gill has also worked with many prominent Punjabi artists such as Guru Randhawa, Ranjit Bawa, Ammy Virk, and many more.
Prabh Gill has won numerous awards for his work in the Punjabi music industry. He won the Best Male Vocalist Award at the PTC Punjabi Music Awards in 2017 and 2018.
