About
One of television's most favourite daughters-in-law, Prachi Desai rose to fame with her character Bani from the serial ‘Kasam Se’. She even won several awards for her role including the ‘Indian Telly Award’ for ‘Best Actress in a Lead Role’.
She made her Bollywood debut in the 2008 film ‘Rock On!!’, her performance received critical praise and earned her a nomination for the ‘Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut’. Her other notable films include ‘Life Partner’, ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’, ‘I, Me Aur Main’ and ‘Bol Bachchan’.
She also performed in a music video, ‘Rihaee’ with Rohit Khandelwal which was released in 2021 and received immense appreciation.
In 2022, she also played a role in Malayalam film ‘Forensic’, co-starring Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte.
She even participated in the second season of ‘Jhalak Dikhlaja’ and went on to become the winner of the second season with some top notch dance performances.
