As a Bollywood actor & model, she began her career with the 2003 film ‘Dhoop’. Her other films include ‘Dor’, ‘Manorama Six Feet Under’, ‘Hello’, ‘Ab Tak Chhappan 2’ & more. Gul has also acted in several web series like ‘The Family Man’, ‘Paatal Lok’, and ‘Rangbaaz’.
She has received critical acclaim for her roles, through which she has covered sensitive social issues from public sector corruption to farmer suicides and gender inequality. Recognized as a ‘thinking actor’, critics have highly appreciated Gul’s ability to portray diverse characters in different languages.
An icon for women’s fitness, Gul is a serial half-marathoner who co-founded the fitness startup ‘MobieFit’ in 2017.
She is a frontline advocate and activist, regularly engaging in debates on issues like gender equality and justice, environmental issues, fundamental rights, corruption, and political accountability.
She runs an NGO that works towards a variety of causes including gender equality, education & disaster management. She also participated in the India Against Corruption movement.

In 2016, Gul Panag added another accomplishment to her multi-feathered cap by procuring her private pilot license.
