About
Conceptualized by Kunal Om, an exceptional flamenco artist, Flamenco Fusion is a unique cultural amalgamation of Flamenco dance from Spain and Indian classical dance; Kathak and Rajasthani folk dance, with Sufi music. The combination is so creatively put together that it feels like a coming together of long-lost siblings! This is majorly because Flamenco derives its origins from the music and dance of wandering gypsies from Rajasthan.
Flamenco Fusion is led by Kunal Om, and a bunch of talented Rajasthani folk dancers, Kathak artists, and Sufi musicians. Whether it is the blend of rhythmic sounds of ‘ghunghru’ of Kathak, and the clicking of the wooden heels of Flamenco dance, or Flamenco and the Rajasthani blend, it is sure to leave the audience in awe.
