Rashami Desai is a versatile, popular, and one of the highest-paid television actresses who gained popularity for her role in the TV series Uttaran. Rashami being a trained Bharatanatyam and Kathak dancer added grace and elegance to her performances in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 5 and Nach Baliye Season 7. Rashami had also participated as a member of the team ‘Massakalli Girls’ in season 2 of the dance reality television show ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’ which aired on Star Plus. Her team emerged as the winners. She has also been a part of a music video titled ‘Sajna Ve’ alongside Salman Yusuff Khan.

Rashami Desai started her journey in the entertainment industry in 2002 with the Assamese film “Kanyadaan”. Later, she made her Bollywood debut in 2004 with “Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke”. In 2006, Rashmi made her television debut with the mythological drama series “Ravan” on Zee TV, where she played the role of Queen Mandodari. In 2012 she made a cameo alongside a renowned superstar Salmaan Khan in “Dabangg 2”. She has also participated in several reality TV shows where she showcased herself as a performer with her bold personality in shows such as “Bigg Boss”, “Comedy Circus”, “Big Money” and more.
