Mouni Roy

Mouni Roy rose to fame with her performance in her debut show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. From her iconic portrayal in the groundbreaking series ‘Naagin,’ to now marking a significant milestone with her role in ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’, she has garnered immense acclaim. Along with her impressive acting skills, she is also an outstanding dancer. She has participated in the popular dance reality show on Colors ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7’ along with Punit Pathak, where she finished in fourth place. Dance has since then been a part of Mouni’s career.

Besides hosting dance reality shows, Mouni has also sizzled the screen with her sensual moves in the much-raged song, ‘Gali Gali’ from the movie ‘KGF’. She has featured in several songs making her mark as a stunning dancer. Some of her notable performances include - ‘Disco Balma’, ‘Odhani’ (Made in China), ‘Tra La La’ (Sultan of Delhi), and the list goes on.

Having started with television, Mouni went on to make her debut in Bollywood with ‘Hero Hitler in Love’ and proved her versatility as an actor with her role in the movie ‘Gold’. 

Her show ‘Naagin’ fetched her first award for ‘ITA Award for Best Actress Popular’ at the Indian Television Academy Awards in 2016.

She received high critical acclaim for her performance as Junoon in the fantasy action-adventure ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’, which earned her the ‘IIFA Award’ for ‘Best Supporting Actress’.

She has been frequently featured on the  Times' 50 Most Desirable Women list and has established herself as one of the most popular and highest-paid television actresses in India. 

She has endorsed brands and products such as Bryan & Candy, Joy and Spawake. She has further demonstrated her versatility through her dance performances in various cities in the United States for ‘The Entertainers’ tour alongside Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Sonam Bajwa and many other actors.
