Widely known as ‘Dharmesh Sir’, Dharmesh Yelande first gained prominence with his remarkable performances on the dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance’ Season 2. Hailing from Vadodara, Dharmesh has carved a niche for himself in the Indian entertainment industry as a dancer, choreographer, and actor. Renowned for his mastery in freestyle, locking and popping, and hip-hop dance forms, Dharmesh impressed audiences with his electrifying talent and infectious energy. Dharmesh is also the founder of the ‘D'virus Dance Academy’ in Vadodara, where he imparts his knowledge and passion for dance to aspiring artists.
Following his success on ‘Dance India Dance’, Dharmesh embarked on a journey that saw him participate in several other dance reality shows, including ‘Dance India Dance Li'l Masters’, ‘Dance Ke Superstars’, and ‘Dance Plus’.
Dharmesh's transition from television to the silver screen was seamless, marked by his Bollywood debut as an independent choreographer in Farah Khan's ‘Tees Maar Khan’ (2010). His innate creativity and innovative choreography contributed to the success of the film, setting the stage for his foray into acting.
In 2013, Dharmesh made his acting debut in India's first 3D dance-based film, ‘ABCD: Anybody Can Dance’, alongside industry stalwarts such as Prabhu Deva and Kay Kay Menon. The movie garnered both critical acclaim and commercial success, catapulting Dharmesh into the spotlight as a terrific performer.
Dharmesh continues to entertain audiences with his dynamic performances and infectious enthusiasm.
