With over a decade dedicated to exploring the rhythmic world of Mandingue percussion, Varun has become a trailblazer in spreading traditional djembe technique in India since 2010. His passion for rhythms and folk tunes from West Africa and India finds expression through this band.
At the helm of Taal Inc. & Friends, Varun Venkit leads a stellar lineup of musicians, including renowned figures such as Sanjay Divecha on guitars, Gandhaar Amin on flute, Gino Banks on drums, Sheldon D'Silva on bass, Rahul Wadhwani on keys, and vocalists Sharmistha Chatterjee and Pratika Gopinath.
