Pineapple Express

A progressive rock fusion band, Pineapple Express was founded in 2016 and is known for its eclectic blend of Carnatic, Rock, Experimental, Electronic, and Progressive elements.  Pineapple Express first caught the industry's attention with their breakout single ‘Money’, featured on Season 5 of Kappa TV's Music Mojo. This catapulted them into the spotlight, paving the way for their debut EP, ‘Uplift’, which garnered widespread acclaim even before its official release. 

Led by a talented lineup featuring Yogeendra Hariprasad on keys, Arjun MPN on flute, Gopi Shravan on drums, and vocalists Jimmy Francis John and Karthik Chennoji Rao, Pineapple Express boasts a unique sound that defies genre boundaries. Their music seamlessly merges Western influences of Rock, Metal, and Pop with traditional Indian elements, including Carnatic melodies, percussive beats, and Hindustani textures, creating an immersive experience that appeals to a diverse audience.

Since their debut, Pineapple Express has released two more EPs: ‘Déjà Vu’ in 2019 and ‘Passages’ in 2020.  With their infectious rhythms, enthralling melodies, and high-energy performances, Pineapple Express guarantees to amp up the entertainment quotient of your event.
