From becoming TVS Racing's first woman factory racer in 2017 to winning the FIM Bajas World Cup thereby becoming the first Indian motorsports athlete to win a world title, Aishwarya Pissay has been defying the conventional expectations in motorbike sports, a domain often dominated by men. She has carved her path as a versatile rider in both circuit and off-road motorcycle racing.
Aishwarya's international acclaim includes participating in the 2018 Baja Aragon World Rally in Spain, where she made history as the first Indian woman to compete in the event.
Aishwarya's versatility as a rider was further demonstrated through her victories in multiple cross-country rallies at the Madras Motor Racetrack and other national events.
Her journey into the world of motorbike racing began with small road trips around Bengaluru at the age of 18, gradually transforming her passion into a distinguished profession.
Her educational journey in racing includes graduating from the Apex Racing Academy and attending the California Superbike School in 2017, which significantly honed her skills.
Aishwarya became a key member of the INDE Racing team for the 2024 FIM E-Explorer season, under the Kankanala Sports Group (KSG) led by Abhishek Reddy Kankanala. Her inclusion in this team is a significant step, reflecting her status as a dynamic and influential figure in motorbike racing.

Aishwarya clinched her first two National titles: the Indian National Road Racing Championship and the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC). This success marked the beginning of her domination in the rally circuit, leading to six consecutive INRC titles from 2017 to 2022. She has also won the Honda One Make Championship and the TVS One Make Championship
She also secured first place in the women’s category and second in the junior’s category at the FIM Bajas World Cup, becoming the first Indian motorsports athlete to win a world title.
Aishwarya’s accolades are numerous, including the TiE Young Achiever of the Year award in 2016, the Outstanding Women in Motorsports Award by FMSCI in 2016 and 2017, and the Sports Woman of the Year Award by Autotrack Magazine.
