Piyush Chawla emerged as a talented leg-spinning all-rounder cricketer from Moradabad, India. In 2006, Piyush made a significant leap into senior international cricket, becoming India's second youngest Test debutant after Sachin Tendulkar. His debut against England in Mohali marked the beginning of a promising career, where he claimed his maiden Test wicket of Andrew Flintoff. Subsequently, he made a successful transition to One Day Internationals (ODIs), delivering impactful performances, including a memorable debut against Bangladesh where he took three wickets.
His cricketing journey began under the guidance of his first coach, Mr. KK Gautam, at Sonakpur Stadium, where he honed his skills during his childhood. Piyush's early promise was evident when he represented India Under-19s, impressing with his bowling skills in both Tests and limited-overs formats.
