Korral Reef, a dynamic rock band officially formed in 2004, has carved out a distinct niche in the music scene with their primary focus on post-grunge rock. Their versatility is highlighted through their original compositions, which often blend alternative grunge styles, creating a unique and compelling sound. Over the years, Korral Reef has gained widespread recognition and a loyal fanbase by performing at a variety of live shows, corporate events, festivals, and private parties.
The band has an impressive performance history, having played at notable venues and events such as the Police Ground and ITC Sonar Bangla for FIFA and Coca-Cola’s World Cup Trophy Tour. They have also graced stages at Moksha 3.0 in Agartala, AGMC in Tripura, Tripura Medical College, and several prestigious clubs in Kolkata, including Tolly Club, Lake Club, and Anderson Club. Additionally, they delivered a memorable performance at the Lalit Great Eastern Hotel for the grand launch of Phillips.
Korral Reef’s achievements extend beyond live performances. They composed and arranged a title track for a Bengali art film, in which they also featured. The band has been victorious in several competitions, including the El Somoy Voice Hunt and the Kalyani Exotica Rock and Rib Band competition.
They have also excelled in other contests such as the Bangla Sanskriti Mela band competition, Surendranath College band fest, and Battle of Bands Revolution band competition.
