Hardik Pandya
About
A ninth grade dropout turned cricket star, Hardik Pandya is an all rounder in every sense of the word. He serves as an Indian international cricket player, captain of Gujarat Titans in IPL and also plays for Baroda cricket team.
After dropping out to concentrate on cricket in the ninth grade, Hardik made consistent improvement in junior level cricket and won a lot of matches single-handedly.
Till the age of 18, Hardik bowled as a leg spinner, but his Baroda coach Sanath Kumar insisted that he switch to fast bowling.
Since 2013, Hardik has been playing for the Baroda cricket team. His contribution to Baroda's 2013–14 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy victory was crucial.
Hardik made his Twenty20 International debut for India in January 2016 at the age of 22, picking up his first wicket Chris Lynn. In the second half of the year 2016 he made his T20 International and was given a chance to debut in an ODI against New Zealand.
He became the fourth Indian to be named player of the match on ODI debut after Sandeep Patil, Mohit Sharma and K. L. Rahul.
In less than a year after his IPL debut, he was chosen to play in the Indian squad during 2016 Asia Cup & 2016 ICC World Twenty20.

‘Top Scorer’ in 2016 Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Tournaments with 377 runs.
