Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja, affectionately known as 'Sir' Jadeja, is the quickest left-arm bowler to reach 200 Test wickets. He has carved out a legendary status in Indian cricket that has earned him a place among the elite of Indian spin bowling. Earlier, in 2013, he topped the ICC ODI bowling rankings, becoming the first Indian to do so since Anil Kumble in 1993. His batting highlights feature significant contributions against top teams, often celebrated with his signature swordsman's celebration.

Ravindra's skills aren't limited to just international cricket; his IPL career has been equally illustrious. In 2012, he drew a bid of US$2 million, highlighting his immense value in the league. Known for his lightning-fast fielding and lower-order batting capabilities, Ravindra has become a captain's dream. 

His memorable performances include being the leading wicket-taker in India's 2013 Champions Trophy win, where he also contributed crucial runs in the final. 

Ravindra's journey to stardom has been anything but easy. From a tough childhood in Jamnagar to overcoming a serious shoulder injury, he has faced numerous challenges head-on. 

His resilience was evident when he made a stunning comeback to the Indian Test side after being dropped. His Test career is adorned with several match-winning performances, including his first five-wicket haul against Australia in 2013 and impressive spells against South Africa and England.

In the IPL, Ravindra has been synonymous with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), where he has taken over 100 wickets across nine seasons. His contributions have been pivotal in CSK's four IPL titles, including a memorable Player of the Match performance in the 2023 final. 

Ravindra's versatility is further highlighted by his record-breaking feat in the IPL, where he scored 36 runs off a single over against RCB's Harshal Patel in 2021.

Ravindra's career resurgence in the limited-overs format came through consistent performances and supreme fitness levels.
