Jemimah Rodrigues is one of India’s most reliable middle-order batters, known for her precise timing, quick footwork, and calmness under pressure.

A mainstay in the national side across all formats, she played a defining role in India’s historic ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup victory in November 2025, anchoring a record chase against Australia in the semifinal with an unbeaten 127, the highest score ever in a successful chase at a Women’s ODI World Cup.

Jemimah’s love for sport began early when she represented Maharashtra in both cricket and field hockey before focusing fully on cricket.

At just 16, she made headlines by scoring an unbeaten double-century (202*) in a domestic Under-19 match, becoming only the second Indian woman to achieve that feat after Smriti Mandhana. Her extraordinary form earned her a place in the national team, where she made her T20I and ODI debuts in 2018.

Over the years, Jemimah has built an international reputation through her consistent performances and adaptability. In franchise cricket, she has been a key player for the Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League, regularly anchoring the middle order. Her global experience includes impactful seasons in England’s The Hundred, where she finished as the tournament’s second-highest run-scorer in 2021, and in Australia’s Women’s Big Bash League with the Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, and Brisbane Heat.

Her contributions to India’s 2022 silver-medal finish at the Commonwealth Games, gold at the Asian Games, and title-winning Asia Cup run cemented her place among the country’s most dependable players.
