Akasa Singh, one of the most popular independant singers in the country has been featured in MTV's ‘Angels of Rock’ & Star Plus ‘India's Raw Star’, which led to her big Bollywood break with 'Kheech Meri Photo' from ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ which went on to become a selfie anthem for the youth.
Her mashup of Ed Sheeran's ‘Shape of You’ and Badshah's ‘Mercy’ and her single ‘Naagin’ helped her gain a lot of recognition.
Her pop debut was with none other than international pop icon Ricky Martin for a song called 'Vente Pa Ca’ in 2017.
Akasa was most recently part of a web-based reality show on Amazon Prime called ‘The Remix’, where she was paired with India's best turntablist & world #7, DJ Skip. The show was judged by Amit Trivedi, Sunidhi Chauhan & Nucleya.
- Her debut pop single “Thug Ranjha” garnered over 27 million views in a month and became the most viewed Indian video worldwide on YouTube.
- With a vocal range spanning over four octaves, Akasa is known for her versatility and is one of India's top live performers.
