Andrea Jeremiah is a versatile Indian playback singer and actress who has made a significant mark in the South Indian film industry, particularly in Tamil cinema, while also contributing to Telugu and Malayalam films. Known for her distinct voice and strong screen presence, Andrea's journey in the entertainment world began with her debut as a playback singer in the Tamil film Anniyan (2005). Her song 'Kannum Kannum Nokia,' composed by Harris Jayaraj, became an instant hit, marking the start of a flourishing music career.

Andrea has worked with top composers like Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Anirudh Ravichander, and Devi Sri Prasad, delivering several hit songs. Andrea has also received multiple nominations at prestigious awards like the Filmfare and Vijay Awards for her contributions to music. 

Andrea made her acting debut in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam (2007), directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. In the film, she portrayed Kalyani, a homemaker caught in a web of betrayal and blackmail. Her performance was well-received, setting the stage for a successful acting career.

Over the years, Andrea has appeared in numerous commercially successful films across different languages. Notable among these are Annayum Rasoolum (2013), Vishwaroopam (2013), Aranmanai (2014), and Vada Chennai (2018). Her role in Annayum Rasoolum marked her debut in Malayalam cinema, a film she has described as the best in her career. She also starred in the critically acclaimed Taramani (2017), where she not only acted but also contributed musically by composing, writing, and singing the promo single 'Soul of Taramani.'

Andrea's recent works include notable roles in films like Master (2021) and Aranmanai 3 (2021), both of which were commercially successful. Beyond films and music, Andrea has also been involved in theater, having begun her career with Girish Karnad's Nagamandala.
