Anirban Dasgupta is a stand-up comedian, hailing from the city of Kolkata, who left behind his career as a corporate salesman, to pursue stand up comedy.
In the year 2012, he co-founded the comedy group ‘Comedified’ that performs stand-up, improv & comedy sketches.
He is a regular performer at India's premier comedy clubs like the ‘Canvas Laugh Club’ & ‘The Comedy Store’.
With jokes, puns, and sketches based on stories from his personal life, on stage, he likes to talk about his inter-community marriage, corporate life, politics, social media and various current affairs.

He won the ‘Weirdass Pajama Festival’ open mic competition, India’s largest comedy festival, curated & produced by Vir Das.
Anirban has performed extensively across the country, been featured as a ‘Best in Stand up’ act and has opened for the biggest stars, including Vir Das and Cyrus Broacha.
Earlier in 2018, Anirban released his Amazon Prime Special called ‘Take It Easy‘, which included jokes about the internet era and his experiences in his hometown, Kolkata.
