Ankit Vengurlekar, a Bangalore-based Tech Journalist, is the Associate Director Of Communications and Public Relations at Xiaomi India.
He is the founder of Contentwala Production, a boutique digital content agency that has worked with brands like ITC Hotels, Microsoft, Renault, Mahindra, GoPro and Corning Gorilla Glass to create compelling branded video content.
Prior to Xiaomi, he was the editor-in-chief of Tech2, senior editor of the science and technology department of the Quint, anchor of CNBC TV18 and CNBC Awaaz,and radio jockey at 92.7 Big FM.
He is also the founder of The Gadgetwala, a website which is a fusion of multiple passions, from science and technology to gadgets and apps. It is a holistic website combining trends from the automobile industry, Food, Travel, Photography, with videos, recommendations and reviews.
He also hosted the popular show ‘Masala Chaha’ and later was also appointed as the editor-in-chief to strengthen user education initiatives as part of its mission to build an ecosystem that simplifies cryptocurrency.
As a host, Ankit brings a lot of experience and versatility to the stage, having worked with some of the biggest brands and corporates in and outside India.
