Anwesha Halder

A Sangeet Alankar from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and a gold medalist in Sangeet Visharad, Anwesha Halder is a distinguished Hindustani Classical Vocalist. Her academic excellence is complemented by her rich training under eminent gurus, Padmashree Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty and Pandit Dr. Prakash Sangeet.

Anwesha has performed on Doordarshan and various prestigious venues across India, captivating audiences with her emotive renditions. Beyond her singing skills, she also is a music teacher, imparting training to beginners & advanced students, preparing them meticulously for music exams conducted by Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya both nationally and internationally. Anwesha provides professional-level training through one-on-one online sessions, ensuring personalized attention and comprehensive learning.

Her teaching methodology encompasses a detailed elaboration of both the theoretical and practical aspects of Indian classical music. With a focus on perfecting Sur and Taal, she offers training in Alankar, Palta, Raag, Thumri, and Bhajan, along with voice culture and voice training.
