Attva is a dynamic four-piece post-progressive/alternative rock band hailing from Chennai. Their immersive music seamlessly blends elements of Rock, Prog, and Ambient music with a subtle Carnatic touch, creating a truly unique musical experience. Influenced by renowned acts such as ‘God is an Astronaut’, ‘Porcupine Tree’, ‘Dream Theater’, ‘Dorje’, ‘Alter Bridge’, and ‘Winery Dogs’, Attva's music transcends genres, enticing audiences with its ethereal melodies and intricate compositions.
Having graced prestigious events and festivals across India, Attva has established itself as a sought-after band in the Indian music scene. From headlining events like ‘Raagabop’ at IIT Madras and ‘AARUUSH’ at SRM University to featuring on platforms like ‘Music Mojo’ on Kappa TV Season 6, the band's electrifying performances have garnered widespread acclaim and admiration.
Comprising of exceptionally talented musicians, Attva boasts a lineup featuring Alvin Presley on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, Shourish Biswas on Backing Vocals and Bass Guitar, Vinay Ramakrishnan on Drums, and Baidurjya Banerjee on Lead Guitar.
