Chirag Shetty
About
Chirag Shetty is a professional badminton player, specialised in men's doubles and mixed doubles events. He created history when he and his partner Satwiksairaj Rankireddy helped India in earning a historic gold medal in the mixed team event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, where they also won the men's doubles silver.
With a career-high ranking of five, Chirag is also ranked inside the top 10 of the BWF World ranking for the men’s double pair from India alongside Rankireddy.
In 2022, Chirag Shetty and Rankireddy won the India Open and were also part of India's Thomas Cup-winning team. They also won the French Open 2022 making it their first Super 750 title in their career.
