Daisy Shah

Daisy began her career as a model and worked in the advertising and modeling industry before making her foray into acting. She got her breakthrough in Bollywood with the 2011 film ‘Bodyguard’ where she played the role of Divya, the leading lady opposite Salman Khan. The film was a commercial success, and her performance was appreciated, marking a significant entry into the Hindi film industry. 

However, she started her journey as an assistant to renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya. She quickly immersed herself in the world of entertainment, learning the ropes of the industry behind the scenes. Daisy has showcased her skills as a dancer and model. She has featured in an item song ‘Neeli Lugadi’ in the Hindi film ‘Khuda Kasam’, starring Sunny Deol and Tabu.  The diva danced to a blend of traditional and contemporary choreography and her presence added elegance and charm to the song's visual appeal.  She has made special appearances in the South Indian film industry as well. In the Kannada movie ‘Bachchan’ which starred Kichcha Sudeepa, Daisy made a special appearance in the song ‘Mysore Pakalli’. Her expressive movements and vibrant energy enhanced the song's groovy vibe. Daisy effortlessly turned in a Marathi belle for the chartbuster ‘Raghu Pinjryat Aala’ from the Marathi movie ‘Daagdi Chawal 2’, and mesmerized the audience with her stellar performance.

Despite starting behind the scenes, Daisy's passion for performance soon led her to step into the spotlight. Her breakthrough came with the 2011 Kannada film ‘Bhadra’, where she was selected to play the lead role, earning acclaim from audiences and critics alike. 

Daisy then went on to star opposite Salman Khan in the 2014 Hindi film ‘Jai Ho’ and in ‘Hate Story 3’ in 2015. Her performances demonstrated her versatility as an actress, portraying a range of characters with conviction and flair.
