DJ Gouri

DJ Gouri Sharma is a self-taught Disc Jockey, cabin crew professional, aviation and grooming instructor, and social media influencer. She has carved a unique path in both the music and aviation industries. Known for her classy, cool, and contemporary style, she has become one of the most prominent female DJs in India, igniting dance floors across the country and abroad with her dynamic performances.

With no clear career path in mind, she worked a series of jobs, including stints at McDonald’s, a call center, and The Taj Hotel as a guest relations executive. Eventually, she joined a cabin crew academy and landed a job with Sahara Airlines, where she worked for four years while simultaneously earning a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Symbiosis International University.

It was during her time at Sahara that Gouri’s passion for music began to take shape. Her days were spent fulfilling her cabin crew responsibilities, while her nights were dedicated to learning the craft—studying the intricacies of the console, observing DJs in action, and gradually honing her skills. In 2014, Gouri secured her first DJ gig, which quickly led to a series of bookings, and her career as a DJ took off.

Today, DJ Gouri Sharma is celebrated as one of India’s top female DJs, known for her expertise in genres like Trap, Hip-Hop, Psychedelic, Commercial House, and Electro. Her electrifying performances at high-profile nightclubs, sporting events, and other venues have earned her numerous accolades, including the ‘Best Female DJ’ award four times consecutively, along with recognition from prestigious publications like India Today and Hindustan Times. 

Despite her success in the music industry, Gouri continues to work as a cabin crew professional, most recently holding a Cabin Supervisor position at Air India and currently working in Charters.

In addition to her professional achievements, Gouri is also a social media influencer with a substantial following of 1 lakh+ on Instagram. Her fans are drawn not only to her musical talent but also to her engaging personality and diverse interests. 

With her mastery of genres like Trap, Hip-Hop, and Electro, she can effortlessly tailor her set to match the vibe of any crowd.
