A versatile actor that he is, Jackie, has given remarkable performances in over 220 films across 13 different languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he solidified his position as one of Indian cinema's leading actors with a string of hit films like 'Karma,' 'Ram Lakhan,' and 'Parinda,' earning him widespread acclaim and four prestigious Filmfare Awards.

In the 2000s, Jackie seamlessly transitioned into supporting and negative roles in notable films such as 'Devdas,' 'Dhoom 3,' and 'Happy New Year.' 

Beyond Bollywood, Jackie has ventured into regional cinema with notable performances in Tamil, Punjabi, Konkani, and Telugu films. He played a role in the highly regarded neo-noir thriller 'Aaranya Kaandam'.
