Kamal Sidhu

A Canadian actress, presenter, and live show host, Kamal Sidhu is well known for her dynamic presence across various platforms. In India, Kamal made her mark as one of the pioneering Indian VJs, entertaining audiences with her Canadian accent and engaging persona on Channel V, MTV Asia, and AXN. Her popularity soared, particularly among the youth, inspiring trends in fashion and speech. Beyond music television, she ventured into diverse realms, hosting an adult show on Zoom TV and anchoring environmental series like ‘EarthPulse’ on the National Geographic Channel. 

Kamal has also graced prestigious events such as the Academy Awards and the Cannes Film Festival. She has entertained audiences globally through award-winning programs like 'Kamal's Planet Ex,' which highlighted youth culture worldwide.

However, Kamal had initially pursued a career in athletics, training to compete in the Olympic Games in Atlanta as part of Canada's heptathlon team. But a career-altering injury redirected her path towards the entertainment industry. 

Kamal's talent is not just restricted to hosting, and modelling, for she has also made notable appearances in acclaimed productions such as Netflix's 'The Archies,' 'The Fakir of Venice,' 'Little Zizou,' 'Aar Ya Paar,' and 'The Saint Who Thought Otherwise.' Notably, she spearheaded Star TV's inaugural in-house produced show, 'In The Picture'.
