Commencing his journey with modeling assignments and commercials, Karan Tacker first caught the public eye in a Nivea Men's Cream advertisement. This early recognition paved the way for a multitude of exciting projects.
In 2008, he made a brief appearance in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, sharing the screen with icons like Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Karan then made his television debut in 2009 with Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, broadcasted on STAR One, where he portrayed the lead character, Sameer Saxena.
Following this, in 2010, he graced the screens as Shantanu Khandelwal in Rang Badalti Odhani. 2011 marked a significant milestone as Karan Tacker assumed the role of Viren Singh Vadhera, the lead character in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, a popular Star Plus show.
In 2014, Karan showcased his dance prowess on the seventh season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa alongside his dance partner Bhawana Khanduja.
Beyond acting and dancing, Karan explored his culinary skills in reality shows like Farah Ki Dawat in 2015 and Kitchen Champion in 2019. He also ventured into the world of music as a participant in the singing competition show Karaoke Atka Toh Latkah.
Karan Tacker has also donned the hat of a host in various reality shows, including Halla Bol in 2014 on Bindass. In 2017, he co-hosted the eighth season of Nach Baliye, a renowned dance couple reality show aired on Star Plus, alongside Upasana Singh.
His journey expanded into the digital realm with appearances in three web series that catapulted him to stardom. Notable among them are his roles as Farooq Ali in Disney+ Hotstar's Special OPS (2020) and Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story (2021).
Karan Tacker's portrayal of IPS Amit Lodha in the Netflix web series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter (2022), garnered him widespread acclaim, solidifying his presence among the Indian streaming platform audience.

Performer Of The Year (Male) category’ for his role in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. Karan also emerged as the ‘first runner up’ of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 7.
