Karun Chandhok is a prominent figure in the world of motorsport, recognized for his achievements across various racing disciplines. Karun's career spans from Formula One to endurance racing, showcasing his versatility and skill behind the wheel. He began his racing journey by dominating the Indian National Racing scene, winning multiple championships including the Formula Maruti series and Formula 2000 Asia, where he displayed exceptional speed and consistency.
Karun's breakthrough onto the international stage came through his success in GP2 Series, where he competed for several years and earned two race wins. His notable victories include a sprint race triumph at Spa-Francorchamps, highlighting his prowess on demanding circuits.
He later transitioned to the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and became the first driver for A1 Team India in the A1 Grand Prix, emphasizing his pioneering role in Indian motorsport.
