Kavya Trehan

Kavya Trehan is a dynamic and multifaceted artist from New Delhi, whose solo music project, KAVYA, is a heartfelt exploration of raw emotion and her cultural roots. Each song is meticulously crafted from guitar parts and voice notes, embodying a unique blend of R&B, electronic, and indie-pop influences. Since picking up Ableton in 2016, she has been on a prolific journey of releasing critically acclaimed singles like 'Underscore,' 'Golden,' and 'Quin,' as well as her 2021 EP 'Know Me Better.' Her music resonates deeply with listeners who seek soulful wisdom in laidback tracks, navigating themes of love, longing, trauma, and the complexities of relationships.

Her journey as a theatre artist started when she attended the prestigious National School of Drama at the age of 9. She continued to engage in public productions throughout her academic years at Lady Shri Ram College, where she pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. 

Kavya's artistic pursuits extend to the film industry, with notable performances such as her role in Ishaan Nair's ‘Kaash - If Only,’ which premiered at the Tokyo International Film Festival.She has even featured on various television commercials and editorial publications.
