Krushnaa Patil

Krushnaa Patil, made headlines in 2009 when as just a 19-year-old, she conquered Mount Everest, securing her place as the youngest Indian woman to achieve this awe-inspiring feat. Although her record has since been surpassed by younger mountaineers, her passion for adventure continues to inspire.

Following her triumphant Everest ascent, Krushnaa embarked on an ambitious quest to conquer the Seven Summits, the highest peaks on each continent. Despite encountering technical challenges, she successfully scaled the highest summits in Antarctica, South America, and Europe. 

Krushnaa has since then conquered the highest peaks on six of the seven continents, which earned her widespread acclaim. 

Krushnaa's journey as a mountaineer began in 2007 when she undertook mountaineering courses at the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering in Uttarakhand. Displaying impressive skill, she made history in 2008 by becoming the youngest person in the world to scale Mt. Satopanth, a formidable peak in the Garhwal Himalayas, at the age of just 18. 

Beyond her mountaineering adventures, Krushnaa is also into other adventurous activities like cycling, rafting, paragliding, rowing, and horse riding. In 2011, she participated in a cycling rally organized by the Women Adventure Network of India, covering a distance of 3000 kilometers from Kolkata to Kanyakumari. 

Krushnaa is also an entrepreneur,  being the director of Yellow Frog Adventures, Mountaineering, and Adventure Sports Company, and owner/chef at Books and Bricks Cafe.
