About
Hailing from a small town in Russia, Ladderman is a renowned circus performer, who rose to prominence from his stint on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 10. He danced and balanced on a free-standing ladder to the tune of the ‘Green Hornet Theme’. The Ladderman’s repertoire of tricks, including spinning the ladder on one leg and hand balancing at its apex, mesmerized both judges and viewers. With each ladder towering higher than the last, culminating in an astonishing 18-foot ascent, Ladderman’s audacity and skill left a lasting impression on all who witnessed his breathtaking display of talent.
Born into a family of Azerbaijani, Ladderman's early exposure to music school laid the foundation for his artistic pursuits. However, his involvement in amateur circuses during his teenage years ignited his passion for acrobatics and balance.
His natural talent for balance, his infectious energy, and his proficiency in music and dance, caught the attention of mentors and peers alike.
In 1995, he received a life-changing opportunity when he was accepted into Moscow's prestigious State College for Circus and Variety Arts, where he honed his skills and graduated with his iconic unsupported ladder act.
Ladderman’s talent and dedication were further validated when he became a laureate of the All-Union Circus Competition. His standout performances at Moscow's Bolshoi Circus caught the eye of the Big Apple Circus, leading him to venture to the United States in 2002.
Ladderman quickly made his mark on the circus scene, captivating audiences with his gravity-defying acts. From his appearances in the Big Apple Circus's production of Dreams of a City to joining the prestigious Cirque du Soleil's Corteo, his free ladder act became synonymous with awe-inspiring feats of agility and balance.
