Major Deepak Iyer is a distinguished individual who combines an illustrious military career with profound expertise in business, leadership, and personal development. A former officer of the Indian Army Special Forces, Major Deepak served in the same unit that conducted the 2016 surgical strikes. His military journey is marked by leadership in some of the most perilous regions of Jammu and Kashmir and the Siachen Glacier.
An alumnus of the National Defence Academy (NDA) Khadakwasla and the Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun, he has also served as a counter-terrorism faculty at the Northern Command Battle School Bhalra. His participation in the NDA Golden Jubilee Motor Rally and the Indian Army Kashmir to Kanyakumari Paramotor expedition highlighted his adventurous spirit and dedication to motivating the youth to join the armed forces.
Transitioning from his military career, Major Deepak pursued an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, where he was mentored by the late Dr. Abdul Kalam and invited by Shri Narendra Modi to be part of his team.
Following his academic excellence, he joined McKinsey & Co., leading business transformation initiatives for several global organizations. His diverse background also includes certifications as a Yoga instructor, Executive Coach, and Leadership Facilitator.
In 2016, he dedicated himself to executive coaching, cultural transformation, and leadership facilitation, founding Mastery Inside to build world-class organizations through leadership development and cultural transformation.
