About
Mumbai-based Meagan Pandian is the first Indian Harp player, a rare instrument in the Indian music scene. As India's pioneering pedal harp player, she has collaborated with iconic musicians such as A.R. Rahman, Pritam, and Shankar Mahadevan. As a versatile musician, she can play multiple instruments, including the piano, violin, and viola.
Introduced to the enchanting sounds of the harp at the tender age of 10, her fascination with the instrument ignited a spark that would drive her musical pursuits for years to come.
Undeterred by the scarcity of harpists in India and the unfamiliarity of the instrument within the country, Meagan embarked on a relentless quest to make her dream a reality.
In addition to her skills as a performer, Meagan is a music teacher and faculty member at prestigious institutions like the International Baccalaureate School Fazlani L’Acadamie Globale and the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation.

Meagan’s pursuit led her to win the prestigious ‘Young Musician of the Year’ award in 2014, opening doors for her to attend a summer school in France where she finally had the opportunity to immerse herself in the world of harp music.
