Mohit Chauhan, one of the most melodious & soulful playback singers, is the voice behind some of the most popular & iconic Bollywood songs.

He began his musical career with the ‘Silk Route’ band, releasing the massive hits ‘Dooba Dooba’ and ‘Pehchan’ with his debut album.

Following his breakthrough with the song ‘Khoon Chala’ for the film ‘Rang De Basanti’, he had his first major hit song in the Pritam-composed romantic ballad ‘Tum Se Hi’ for the film ‘Jab We Met’.

Chauhan's biggest rise to national prominence came when he was recognised for his contribution to the soundtrack of Rockstar. Following that, he recorded songs such as ‘Abhi Kuch Dino Se’ from ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’, ‘Khwabon Ke Parindey’ from ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, and ‘Acha Lagta Hai’ from ‘Aarakshan’.

In 2007, he took part in singing reality show, Mission Ustaad on 9X, where he teamed with Vasundhara Das. He also took part in the singing reality show on STAR Plus, Music Ka Maha Muqqabla, where he led the team ‘Mohit's Fighters’.

In 2011 he featured in The Dewarists collaborating with Indian Ocean for the song Maaya. He was also featured on MTV Unplugged (India).

He has two Filmfare Awards, one IIFA Award, three Zee Cine Awards, and one Screen Award to his credit. He was named to the Forbes Celebrity 100 list in 2012.

He has sung many advertisement jingles, performed at numerous corporate, social & college events, & is extremely popular for his remarkable singing talent & versatility.
