Nakash Aziz belongs to a family of singers and worked as a composer for jingles and devotional albums before becoming a popular Bollywood playback singer.
He has assisted the legendary composer A.R. Rahman on films like ‘Highway’, ‘Raanjhanaa’, ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Delhi 6’. He has over 100 songs to his credit & has contributed some of the most memorable & popular songs including ‘Cutiepie’, ‘Ye Jawani Teri’, ‘Afghan Jalebi’, ‘ Second Hand Jawani’, ‘Pungi’ & many many more.
He worked as a composer for jingles & devotional albums before becoming a playback singer. He got his Bollywood break in 2010, with the song ‘Suno Aisha’ from ‘Aisha’.
In 2014, at the Zee Cine Awards, he received the ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Fresh Singing Talent’ award.
Nakash has also rendered his music to daily soaps and Ad jingles for brands like Hyundai, Asian Paints, and Microsoft. His expertise in music on the stage translates into a power-packed, mesmerizing experience that distinguishes him from other artists.
