Nakuul Mehta has won many hearts with his charm as Aditya in Star Plus ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara’ in 2013, is one of the most popular actors on Indian television.
A descendent of the royal family of Udaipur, Nakuul made his debut in Bollywood with the movie ‘Haal E Dil’ in 2008.
Post hosting a season of ‘India’s Got Talent’ in 2015 and playing the lead in the web series ‘I Don’t Watch TV’, Nakuul made his big comeback playing the suave and egoistic business tycoon Shivaay in ‘Ishqbaaaz’ for which he won several awards including the Star Parivaar Award for ‘Favourite Beta’ and the Indian Television Academy Award for ‘Most Popular Actor’ in 2017.
He has also hosted many award shows like Gold Awards 2018, Star Parivaar Awards 2017, Big Star Entertainment Award Red Carpet 2016, Star Guild Award Red Carpet 2015 and IIFA Green Carpet 2014.
Considered by many as a look-alike of Hrithik Roshan, thanks to his hazel-eyes and dance moves, Nakuul has also been the face of many brands such as Cadbury’s Five Star, Eureka Forbes, Tata Sky and Emami Fair and Handsome with Shah Rukh Khan
He also appeared in a short film called ‘Ved and Arya’ in 2020 and even did an album of 12 poems named ‘Poems For Democracy’.
Apart from being a popular face on Youtube, he is a good presenter as well. Known for being charming and witty, he has a captivating stage presence owing largely to his rich theatre experience that gives him the much needed spontaneity and the ability to handle any situation on stage.
