Cyborg artist and activist for trans species rights; Neil Harbisson is renowned worldwide for being the first person with an antenna implanted in his skull. The antenna can send audible vibrations from his skull to report information to him. It includes measuring phone calls, music, videos, images and electromagnetic radiations.
He co-founded the Cyborg Foundation, an international organisation that protects cyborg rights, fosters cyborg art, and supports people who are willing to become cyborgs. He even co-founded Trans Species Society in the year 2017, which is an association that offers voice to people with non-human identities.
He created live portraits of renowned celebrities and artists, including Philip Glass, James Cameron, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and many more, using "Sound Portraits."

He was described as the world’s first legally recognized cyborg and cyborg artist since 2004 by the International media. His work is ranked as one of the ten most shocking art performances ever, along with the work of Yoko Ono and Marina Abramović.
His main work was exhibited during the 54th Venice Biennale and at the American Visionary Art Museum.He published the Human Colour Wheel, a study on hue and light detected on hundreds of human skins, in the year 2004.
He also became a part of many documentaries by Discovery Channel, Documentos TV, and Redes.
