An established actress in Bollywood, Nimrat Kaur has always been a trailblazer.
The Oscar nominated film, ‘The Lunchbox’ helped her carve a niche for herself in Bollywood and also won her global recognition.
She first made her appearance in the music video of the legendary singer Kumar Sanu’s ‘Tera Mera Pyar’ in 2004 and hasn’t looked back ever since.
She began her career as a print model and went on to act in theater. She later starred in Anurag Kashyap's ‘Peddlers’, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. Later her breakthrough role in ‘The Lunchbox’, a critically acclaimed drama, was also screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Her international debut came in 2014 with ‘Homeland’, followed by appearances in‘Wayward Pines’ and the eighth season of ‘Homeland’ in 2020.
Nimrat has appeared in several television commercials and has been part of brand endorsements for ICICI, Videocon, Samsung, Ritu Kumar, Cadbury and many more.
