Palga Rinpoche

Palga Rinpoche recognized as the 8th Chokyong Palga Rinpoche, was identified at a young age as a ‘tulku’, or a reincarnated lama, in the Drukpa lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in Ladakh, his recognition came through the visions of his guru, Gyalwang Drukpa. Palga spent his early years living a relatively normal life with his family until the age of 18, balancing traditional education with spiritual training​.

At 18, Palga left the monastery, drawn to the world of technology and business. His journey took him to Europe, where he learned computer programming and ventured into the business world, ultimately achieving significant financial success. Despite his material wealth, Palga experienced profound dissatisfaction, leading him to donate his earnings and return to his spiritual roots​.

Upon his return to India, Palga resumed his monastic duties and embarked on a mission to spread the teachings of Buddhism. He has become known for his engaging public talks and interactive sessions, where he emphasizes the importance of inner peace, compassion, and mindfulness. His teachings often highlight the impermanence of the material world and the importance of spiritual development over material gains.

Palga actively participates in various public and educational events, sharing his insights on spirituality and mental well-being. During these events, he captivates audiences with his profound yet accessible wisdom, encouraging a balanced approach to life that harmonizes material and spiritual pursuits​.
