Parineeti Chopra

A renowned Bollywood actress, Parineeti Chopra came into the limelight with her Filmfare-winning role in the movie  ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’. This marked the beginning of a series of impactful performances in box-office hits like 'Shuddh Desi Romance' (2013), and 'Hasee Toh Phasee' (2014).  She also proved her acting skills in acclaimed films like ‘Ishaqzaade’ and ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’. Notably, her role in 'Ishaqzaade' earned her the National Film Award – Special Mention. A multitalented person, Parineeti is not just a stellar actress, but also a mellifluous singer, trained in Hindustani classical with a B.A. Honours in music.  She has lent her voice to soulful renditions of songs like ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin’ and ‘Teri Mitti’, which garnered her praise and nominations for music awards. 

Parineeti’s foray into Bollywood was when she joined Yash Raj Films as a public relations consultant before transitioning into an acclaimed actress under the same banner

Throughout her career, Parineeti's dedication to her craft has been evident, balancing commercial success with critically acclaimed roles. Despite facing setbacks with some films, she bounced back with notable successes like the horror-comedy 'Golmaal Again' (2017) and the impactful war drama 'Kesari' (2019). Her portrayal in the critically acclaimed films 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' and 'Saina' in 2021 further earned her acclaim. She also forayed onto OTT, with Imtiaz Ali’s biographical drama ‘Chamkeela’ (2024), released on Netflix. 

Off-screen, Parineeti is actively involved in social causes, supporting initiatives like the ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign and contributing to environmental sustainability through initiatives like NDTV's Greenathon. 

In recent years, Parineeti has expanded her horizons into entrepreneurship, investing in ventures like the beauty and cosmetic brands 'Clensta' and 'Tritiyaa Fine Jewellery,'.
