Pranav Mistry, computer scientist, and inventor, is known for his groundbreaking work on SixthSense, a wearable gestural interface that augments the physical world with digital information. This invention earned him the 2009 Invention Award and solidified his reputation as a leading innovator. He is the founder and CEO of TWO, an innovative Artificial Reality startup. Prior to this, Pranav served as the President and CEO of STAR Labs (Samsung Technology & Advanced Research Labs), where he played a pivotal role in advancing Samsung's technological research and development initiatives.
During his tenure at Samsung, Pranav was instrumental in developing and launching several innovative products, including the SixthSense technology, Galaxy Watch, Gear 360, Bixby AR, and Project NEON.
Pranav's career began with an internship at Microsoft, after which he accumulated extensive experience working with prestigious organizations such as Google, CMU, NASA, UNESCO, and JST. His academic journey included a stint in the PhD program at MIT, which he left to embark on a successful career at Samsung Electronics.
His other notable projects include Mouseless, an invisible computer mouse; Sparsh, a novel method for transferring data between digital devices; Quickies, intelligent sticky notes; and Blinkbot, a robot controlled by blinking. Pranav also contributed to the development of Samsung's NEON, a project aimed at creating artificial humans.

His visionary approach to technology has been recognized by Chris Anderson, who referred to him as ‘one of the best inventors in the world.’
Further honors include being listed among the ’15 Asian Scientists to Watch’ by Asian Scientist Magazine, being named one of the most powerful digital Indians by GQ India, and being recognized as one of the ’37 Indians of Tomorrow’ by India Today.
In addition to his numerous professional achievements, Pranav was honored as a Young Global Leader in 2013 by the World Economic Forum.
