Raveena Tandon

Raveena Tandon, an acclaimed Bollywood actress made her Bollywood debut in the 1991 action film ‘Patthar Ke Phool’, which won her the ‘Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut’.  However, she rose to fame with the iconic song ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani’ from the film ‘Mohra’ (1994), which became a nationwide sensation further solidifying her status as a leading actress in Bollywood.

She established her foothold in the industry by playing the leading lady in some of the commercially successful action films like ‘Dilwale (1994)’, ‘Mohra (1994)’, ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996)’, and ‘Ziddi (1997)’. In the 2000s, Raveena embraced arthouse cinema which earned her critical acclaim and prestigious awards for her compelling performances in ‘Daman (2001)’ and ‘Aks (2001)’.  

Her talent wasn’t just limited to the silver screen, as she 

gracefully transitioned to the small screen with Sahara One's drama ‘Sahib Biwi Gulam’ (2004) and later captivating audiences on the dance reality show ‘Chak De Bachche’ (2008). The multifaceted star also took the helm of talk shows as a host, weaving magic with ‘Isi Ka Naam Zindagi’ (2012) and ‘Simply Baatein With Raveena’ (2014).

After a hiatus that left fans eager for her return, Raveena Tandon made a power-packed comeback with the thriller ‘Maatr’ (2017).  She continued to captivate audiences with a leading role in the Netflix crime thriller ‘Aranyak’ (2021) which earned her the prestigious ‘Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actress’.
